Privacy Policy

Last updated October 1, 2026

This policy explains what personal data AKI Paris Transfer collects when you visit akiparistransfer.com or book a transfer with us, how we use it, and the rights you have under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and French data protection law.

1. Who we are

AKI Paris Transfer, trading as AKI Paris Transfer, based in Paris, France, is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. We provide private airport, railway station, hotel and Disneyland Paris transfers.

For any question about your data, contact us at akiparistransfer@gmail.com.

2. What we collect

When you request a quote or book a transfer through our website, by email, phone or WhatsApp:

  • your name, email address and phone number;
  • pickup and drop-off addresses, date and time of travel;
  • flight or train number and arrival or departure time;
  • number of adults, children and infants, ages of children and the child seats needed;
  • luggage details and any special requests you choose to share, such as mobility assistance.

When you contact us through our contact form, email, phone or WhatsApp: your name, contact details and the content of your message.

When you pay: the amount, date and payment method. If you pay by card, your card is read by the driver's payment terminal and processed by a regulated payment provider. We do not see or store your full card number.

When you browse our website: technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device, pages visited and referring site, collected through server logs and analytics cookies (see section 7).

We do not ask for sensitive data such as health information. If you tell us about a passenger's reduced mobility so we can help, we use that information only to arrange the transfer.

4. Who we share it with

We only share your data when needed to provide our service:

  • Our drivers and partner chauffeurs receive the passenger name, phone number, pickup details and passenger information needed to carry out your transfer.
  • Service providers who host our website, email and booking system, and messaging providers such as WhatsApp when you choose to contact us that way.
  • Payment providers who process card payments made in the vehicle.
  • Our accountant and authorities where the law requires it, for example for tax or police requests.

Our service providers may only use your data on our instructions. We never sell or rent your personal data.

5. Transfers outside the EU

Some of our providers, such as email, messaging and analytics services, may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where this happens, the transfer is protected by an adequacy decision of the European Commission (such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework) or by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. How long we keep it

  • Booking data: up to 3 years after your last transfer, so we can handle questions, complaints and repeat bookings.
  • Invoices and accounting records: 10 years, as required by French commercial law.
  • Contact form messages and quote requests that do not lead to a booking: up to 1 year.
  • Cookies: up to 13 months; your cookie choice is stored for up to 6 months.
  • Server logs: up to 12 months.

After these periods, data is deleted or anonymised.

7. Cookies

Cookies are small files stored on your device when you visit a website. We use:

  • Essential cookies, needed for the website and booking form to work (for example, to remember your fare calculation). These do not require consent.
  • Analytics cookies, such as Google Analytics, to understand how visitors use the site. These are only set with your consent, which you can give or withdraw at any time.
  • Third-party content, such as embedded maps, videos or review widgets, which may set their own cookies under those providers' policies.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the website, such as the booking form, from working.

8. Security

Our website uses HTTPS encryption. Access to booking data is limited to the people who need it to provide your transfer, and we use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect it against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security of data sent over the internet.

9. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you and receive a copy;
  • correct data that is wrong or incomplete;
  • ask us to delete your data, where we have no legal reason to keep it;
  • restrict or object to how we use your data, including for review requests;
  • receive your data in a portable format;
  • withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on consent;
  • give instructions on what should happen to your data after your death, as provided by French law.

To use any of these rights, email akiparistransfer@gmail.com. We may ask you to confirm your identity and will reply within one month.

If you believe we have not handled your data properly, you can complain to the French data protection authority, the CNIL (www.cnil.fr, 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07), or to the authority in your own country.

10. Children

Our bookings must be made by an adult. We collect children's ages only to provide suitable child seats and comply with road safety law. We do not knowingly collect personal data directly from children under 15.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our service or the law. The latest version is always published on this page, with the date it was last updated. Please also read our Terms and Conditions.
